Another Reason Why I’m not a Man’s Man (blog update)

    By Jeff | June 11, 2007

Well, I’ve gone and done it. I’ve managed to add another item to my previous blog of reasons why I’m not a “Man’s Man.” (Son of a …) Feel free to visit my previous blog by clicking here if you have not read it or if you just want to refresh your memory. Let’s get to the story.

Exfoliation (cosmetology) - is a cosmetic technique aimed at removing dead skin cells from the face and body. Yep, through the efforts of my wife, I have delved into the world of exfoliation. Just for the record, let me verify that my wife has not been nagging, nor has she been withholding sex from me (at least not more than usual), nor has she performed any other version of female torture on me to convince me of my need to dispose of my manly skin issues. On the contrary, she merely succumbed herself to show me the glory and power that is exfoliation. The first step is the pedicure foot file (which is totally different from a pedifile, by the way). My rough cracked and hardened skin on the bottom and sides of my foot are filed away in a similar fashion as sandpaper smooths out rough wood. Only when this is completed can the full effect of the powerful Kerasal foot lotion be unleashed. Ah, smooth and soft like velvet. Okay, maybe not velvet, but you get the idea. Of course this is done at night before I go to bed, so it’s imperative that I put on some socks to keep my feet moisterized as long as possible.

So there you have it. The basic routine that has gone on for the past week. Unfortunately, I’m afraid what this first step will culminate to. I fear that a HIS and HERS exfoliating facial scrub set may appear in our shower in the near future. While I have only surrendered my feet to such practices, the normal progression might lead us in the aformentioned direction. As they say, “Never hesitate when you exfoliate.” (Okay, you’re right… they don’t really say that; I made it up.) Anyway, my other issue is one that never even crossed my mind when I began this endeavor. While my ultimate motive was to increase the liklihood of extracurricular sexual activity, my wife assumed it was with another woman. Yeah, I know. Here I am, taking my own wife’s advice for once and when I do, she feels the need to ask me if I’m having an affair. I guess in my wife’s eyes, the saying is more like “When I exfoliate, she must investigate.”
