I Can’t Make this Up
By Jeff | July 24, 2007
I can’t make this stuff up, but I wish I would have because it’s damn funny!
Recently at work, I performed my usual routine of logging in to my computer, clocking in, opening all of my necessary programs I need throughout the day, reading my work e-mail, and checking for any updates to the AT&T network. After all that, because Heaven forbid I show up early enough, I took a quick trip to the coke machine to get me a Mountain Dew so that my thirst is quenched until lunch. Well, today was slightly different. After I grabbed my
Umm, is he talking to me? I’m almost at the corner so I can’t turn around now. That’s just ridiculous and a waste of time if he’s expecting me to turn around to open the door for him. I mean, seriously, guys don’t open doors for guys unless its just out of convenience or they are right behind a hot girl. So I turn the corner and hear this, “A-hole!” (Except he said the full version, not just the letter) Yep, he was talking to me. I was actually chuckling because all I did was open the door and walk through. It wasn’t like I slammed the door behind me or purposely closed it in front of him. In fact, I didn’t even know anyone was around me when I went through the door. After a few seconds passed, I looked back to see what kind of a jerk off was all pissed off because I didn’t hold the door for him. There he was. A guy passed by the hallway scooting around in a motorized wheel chair.
Wow! I was just called an A-hole by a guy in a wheel chair. That’s damn funny! I thought the disabled wanted to be treated like everyone else.
