Western All Stars of Lubbock, TX Advance to Little League World Series

As if there was any doubt. The Western All Stars of Lubbock, TX defeated Roswell, NM 6-0 to advance to their first ever Little League World Series. For those outside the West Texas plains, let me show you a list of some recent tournament scores and see if you notice a trend.

They shut out their opponents in 13 of those games. In these tournament games alone, Lubbock has outscored its opponents by a combined score of 305 - 8. I don’t care what level you are playing at, that’s just ridiculous. So congratulations to the mighty Western All Stars for their shear domination and we salute you as you continue your quest to bring home the Little League World Series Championship. I know I’m biased because they’re from my town, but you have to admit that what they have accomplished so far is pretty darn impressive. Go Western All Stars!
