    Little Baby ThinkBox Update (11 Weeks)

    My wife is considered to be 11 weeks into her pregnancy. The following information about the development of Little Baby ThinkBox is taken from eMedTV as I find their site easy to use and understand for the purposes of this blog. Picture is taken from ChooseBirth.com.

    Week 11 of pregnancy marks the end of the embryonic period. From now on, Baby ThinkBox is a fetus. It also marks the period when Baby ThinkBox is out of the danger zone for the development of most congenital abnormalities.

    At 11 weeks pregnant, the following fetal developments typically occur:

    The head is still almost half the size of the fetus (because the brain is one of the first structures to develop). The ears are still low but will be moving up from the neck to the sides of the head.

    Tips for Momma ThinkBox:

    During the third month of pregnancy, the breasts are very full and tender, and there may be darkening in the skin color of the areolas (areas around the nipples). As the blood supply increases throughout the body, bluish veins under your skin may be noticed.

    It is important that a well supporting bra is worn throughout the pregnancy, which will give the breasts plenty of support. A maternity bra is an option at this point. Maternity bras:
