Final Call for ThinkBox Fantasy Challenges!

Ah, I can smell it. It’s in the air. The opening kick-off of the NFL version 2007 is nigh. As in the past few seasons, the NFL will have an opening game on Thursday (in this case, Sept. 6th) before the Sunday games start and will have two, count them, two Monday Night Football games this year. How exciting is that?! Technically you will have until Saturday to sign up for the salary cap league, but you obviously can’t use any players on the Colts or Saints teams as they would have already played. The Survival Football challenge needs to be done before games start on Thursday.

Surprise, surprise! I even got my wife to play. Yes, I am as powerful in my skills of persuasion as I am in putting together a solid fantasy football team. I am king of my domain and king of this household. My persuasive conversation went a little something like this:
Julie, will you do me a favor?
Uh, what?
Will you participate in the fantasy football challenges that I put on my website?
Yeah. But I want you to know that you can take your little cocky attitude and your smug little smile and shove them where the sun don’t shine. You think you’re all that but I’ve got balls of steel, you pansy!
Well, obviously, all that stuff after ‘yeah’ I totally made up… but I could tell she was thinking it. But it would have been really funny if she did say that (although I’m a little worried about her thinking she has balls of steal - we may need to visit with Dr. Phil about that.) Anyway, if my wife, who thinks the NFL season was invented to allow her to catch up on some naps, can do it then so can you. The more people involved that I can dominate; the sweeter my victory.
