Minesweeper Mania

Well it appears the issues with the server supported and maintained by my host has been corrected. That issue along with just the intensive amount of attention that a newborn requires has cut down on some of my posts. Thanks to whoever still stops by from time to time.
While my posts have been sporadic, my desire for play time has not. Basically my wife and I split up the feeding shifts during the night time hours. I stay up late (usually around 2 am or so) and my wife takes over in the morning (maybe 4 am or later). Feed, burp, change diaper, wrap in blanket, then secure pacifier. I mix up my activities between watching movies and playing on the computer (or pooter as my 4 yr old calls it). I’m able to play Spades online and Minesweeper with one hand and use the other hand to hold Andrew Jayden until he falls asleep after he has been fed and changed.
Well, I recently had a personal best score for the Expert level of 99 mines. I broke the 200 second time so time back and then realized that 180 seconds was equal to three minutes (I know, I’m a genius) so that was my new goal. Lo and behold, I recently broke that with an all time low score of 165. Yes, I’m white and nerdy and somewhat proud of it. Here is the screenshot of that board.
I was pretty proud of that score since it took me some time to actually reach it that I decided to see if I could find some kind of best times list online. Well, it didn’t take long before I found out that I had absolutely nothing to be bragging about. Check out this video of what is purported to be the World Record time for the 99 mine expert level of Minesweeper done in 37 seconds. What!?!?!?! 37 seconds. I’m going to have to admit that I’m beat on this one. I was proud of 165 seconds which is 4.46 times as long as it took this person to do it. Ridiculous.
Oh well. I’m sure I’ll have some more late nights to work on that time a little bit more.
